Some people are very good at avoiding the truth. They dance around it very effectively without ever getting to the heart of the matter. Other people are very good at twisting the truth so that what they say expresses what they think you want to hear, but it isn’t really honest. You may be worried about that now with someone special. You wonder whether this person is really speaking from the heart. There is no scientific way of figuring it out, Aquarius, but if you listen to your intuition, you will know.

Be very careful about communication today, Aquarius. If you’re talking face to face with someone, be as clear and pleasant as possible - especially if you’re trying to relay a message that involves some kind of obligation or point of conflict. If you’re communicating via phone - you’ll have to be extra clear since the other person won’t see your body language and facial expressions. If you’re texting or communicating via email, make sure you review what you’re writing a few times before you hit “send.” There is potential for communication mishaps, but if you’re careful you’ll do fine.

In a court case, defendants and plaintiffs can hire professional expert witnesses to testify on their behalf. The defendant’s expert will find perhaps dozens of reasons why he or she is right, while the plaintiff will do the same with his or her own expert witness. For the jury, this can probably be very confusing. Depending on the circumstances of the case, it may come down to whose expert is the more gifted or charismatic speaker. In your personal life, Aquarius, your viewpoint is now being torn in two by opposing parties. Each makes an excellent case. So who do you trust? You trust yourself.

Don’t get too attached to someone else’s opinion of a choice you are about to make. It may turn out that the facts won’t back it up, and you’ll be too distracted to see what’s really happening. It’s fine to solicit feedback on an important decision, Aquarius, but ultimately you have to be happy with yourself. Listening to the ideas and perspective of other people can help you to better form your own ideas - but you must be open-minded about it. You have a very clever, very agile mind. If you give yourself a chance, you’ll do fine without any intervention.

Take care of any drudgery today, Aquarius - that means paying your bills, straightening up, balancing your checkbook, and so on. There is a fabulous invitation from the universe awaiting you. That means you will soon have an opportunity that could mean a lot to you, and if your slate is clean and you have the time available, you can pursue it to your heart’s content. You have been procrastinating a lot lately anyway, so you are a bit overdue for catching up with chores and such. Get it all done and you’ll be relieved.

You may be contemplating altering this relationship, or relinquishing it altogether, but that’s a hard decision to make. Before you do, though, think back to its origin, and try to figure out why it was so important to you in the first place. It must have been at one time to have lasted so long. If you can recapture that, then find a way. If not, then it may be that this person has already fulfilled his/her purpose in your life.

But if you’ve found that you’re forgetful or just not as sharp as you always have been in the past, it may be because you have become a bit stuck in a rut, and you haven’t been challenging yourself as much as you should be. Make a goal of learning something new, or taking up a hobby, or even doing a crossword puzzle once in awhile.
